I am not: yo mama
I hurt: via mental rather than physical thing
I love: being puzzled
I hate: when people do something they know is wrong just because they cannot get over our own ego/history.
I fear: pure violence, that I don't understand
I hope: people (including me) know how their actions affect the environment
I regret: when I miss people and experiences
I cry: when I see other peoples pain
I care: a lot
I always: wipe front to back
I long: for life in simpler times
I listen: to hearts
I hide: nothing
I write: on what ever is close at hand, and then wish I was a diary person
I miss: the innocents of not knowing
I search: for honest people and gather them close beside me
I learn: every time I open my eyes
I feel: like a boon
I know: and then I change my mind
I want: simplicity
I worry: about equality and what people think
I wish: there wasn’t so much sugar/corn syrup in our lives
I have: a curious cat
I give: my love to honesty
I wait: for the unreliable bus’o’weirdos, while Ross takes the tram with the yuppies
I need: a snack with flavour

Dinner inspired by Dad's home-grown organic tomatoes.

I got home late but these tomatoes needed some attention. they were teetering on the verge of brilliant sweetness or only good to chuck a the latest 'talent' on idol. first I stuffed the tomatoes with some rosemary ross picked from our garden and popped them in the oven.

as we waited for the tomatoes to roast I prepared a little snack. ross was sent to the garden again, this time for some figs. the rosemary infused aroma filled the house as we nibbled on brie, figs and pate.

i skinned the tomatoes and blended them for a few seconds while ross griddled the prawns doused in garlic. we combined it all with some squid ink pasta and voila! yummm.

this year ross and i decide to look after our fig tree for the first time in the 5 years we've been living here. traditionally all of our delicious figs go to the birds.
during a big summer clean (we're usually a little late to everything) we found an old mosquito net we used to have over our bed (we needed a net was we were living in a shed, but thats a whole different story) and stretched it over the fig tree. hey presto late summer organic fresh figs bursting open in all their glory. yummmmmmm
