Dinner inspired by Dad's home-grown organic tomatoes.

I got home late but these tomatoes needed some attention. they were teetering on the verge of brilliant sweetness or only good to chuck a the latest 'talent' on idol. first I stuffed the tomatoes with some rosemary ross picked from our garden and popped them in the oven.

as we waited for the tomatoes to roast I prepared a little snack. ross was sent to the garden again, this time for some figs. the rosemary infused aroma filled the house as we nibbled on brie, figs and pate.


i skinned the tomatoes and blended them for a few seconds while ross griddled the prawns doused in garlic. we combined it all with some squid ink pasta and voila! yummm.
